When did this forum turn into a first grade sandbox pissing match. If
you want to be at all accurate, then the HVX200 is the ONLY small
format camera worth talking about on a professional basis, with its
4:2:2 color space and DVCPRO-HD codec. If you're not a fan of pixel
shift, even this unit, with its low pixel count and 1/3 inch size, it
not up to "Professional" standards. GET OVER YOURSELVES, people. All
these units have some value, or they would not be selling in the
marketplace. This "more professional than thou" crap is really getting
to be a pain. (By the way, the first camera upon which I trained was a
1947 Dumont Image Orthicon turret lens model from 1947, which had
devolved to student use at the University of Detroit in 1965. Needless
to say, we would have been very happy with AVCHD, since the Dumont was
B&W, the size of a refrigerator, and made HORRIBLE pictures.)
