There was no shortage of porn on Betamax or on V2000 for that matter.
Finding a shop that rented it was the problem. I did, about three days after
I threw my Betamax machine out.
Thing is, whichever format won the VHS-Betamax battle was going to be mass
market. Neither HD-DVD nor Blu-Ray will ever be mass market. There simply
won't be a mass market for pre-recorded video by the time one HD format
establishes dominance over the other.
