A local TV station videotaped a show using several DVCAM and DVCPRO cameras.
They have promised to share the video, but since I can only read miniDV
format, and since the show is 3 hours long, I prefer to get the copy on a
hard disk in dv avi file.
Is this something easy for them to do? Are they more likely to capture their
tapes with macintosh format or PC? Should I bring them an external 1394
drive, eSATA drive, internal SATA drive?
I'm clueless about workflow in broadcast industry. I only use miniDV camera
and premiere on PC.
