TV stations are not standardized on Mac. They aren't standardized
on PC either. The only way of knowing what they are using is simply
asking them.
I would offer to bring in my laptop PC (with a firewire port) and plug
into one of their capture decks. I would bring along an external drive
to dump the AVI files to (unless you have enough room on your C:
drive?) I would offer to do it in "off hours" when they aren't using
all their editing suites

Suggest that direct contact is required for technical reasons unless
this middleman is prepared to just pay them to transfer the footage.
