I have a windows 2000 pro system and I have been using Audacity to
record my cassette collection to mp3 on a second hard drive. Is there I can
download id3 tags for my mp3 files? ...
Realplayer and similar CD ripping programs (Musicmatch Jukebox, CDEX,
Windows Media Player use an internet based CD database to indentify tracks
on an audio CD. I don't think this will work with files recorded from
cassette. If your cassette has also been released as CD you can go to
www.gracenote.com and enter title of CD, it will bring up track listing. Cut
and paste into Notepad, the use to label each track - some work but still
better than typing each title.
