If you're ordering enough dvds that netflix is throttling you and
you've cancelled neflix because of throttling, then where do you get
your movies now?
People could just copy the dvds from netflix and send them back
immediately. Burn through a few hundred dvds and then cancel netflix
and watch the copies at your leisure.
Netflix has to throttle to limit mass copying.
