Sigh.
Nappy, you need to concentrate on COMPREHENSION.
I've NEVER taught anything related to FILM MAKING, because I don't make
FILMS.
This is not rec.film.production, or rec.movie.making, or
rec.hollywood.pretenders is it? It's rec. VIDEO production.
(rec.) just in case you've forgotten the basics - the usenet
designation derived from "recreational" -
I speak and lecture on VIDEO production. I do so as a 20 year
professional corporate VIDEO maker.
I DO NOT NOR HAVE I EVER TRIED to teach any seminars on "film making."
I expect that the Videomaker seminars on that subject will be taught by
people who have done that - just like they engaged me to teach seminars
in areas such as basic audio for video, basic and intermediate lighting
for video, basic and intermediate video editing and dozens of other
topics about which I had substantial and VERIFIABLE practical
professional experience.
You appear to arrogantly believe that if you can get this newsgroup to
believe that you're a big time player in the "movie" business, that
qualifies you to criticize anyone who works at any level below that.
It doesn't.
The largest problem with usenet newsgroups is that it's all to easy for
people to slink in, spew nonsense while hiding behind silly made-up
names, and either switch identities or slink away when they're finally
exposed as not being what or who they claim to be.
I've accused you of that on quite a few occasions.
I claim to be nothing more than I am.
A working professional in corporate and industrial video.
I've backed that up with published writing, photographic evidence of my
professional faciliies and work in progress, public appearances and
speaking, and a long history of meeting with, working with, and
establishing verifiable relationships with real people in the real world.
When challenged, I step up and produce facts. When challenged, you
childishly attempt to belittle the challenger from cover of anonymity.
I stand by what I've posted, and am delighted to let the community
decide whom to believe.
