I can't seem to get into the latest Doctor Who series although I've got
my DVD to record it. Somethings missing 'cause I'm a sci-fi nut, I even
like the hokey SciFi original movies! ;-)

I get a few OTA HD channels, but not all of them.
I like TNT, A&E and of course, all the Discovery stuff. One of the
funny things going on with satellite HD is that Direct says they will
have SciFi in HD, but SciFi says they don't have any current plans, or
at least plans that they will talk about. Hopefully SciFi will go HD
soon.
As to '300', well first you have to like the movie, I didn't. Making it
hi-def didn't help. Now Apocalypto is another story. And I'd love to
see Pan's Labyrinth done in HD.
I just got Stargate in BD yesterday from Netflix. WOWEEEEEE!!! What a
great HD movie to watch. Kicked the volume up and watched across the
street to see if the neighbor woke up and enjoyed a fine movie again,
only much better.
I used to have all the movie channels, then went to Showtime and HBO
only because of the boxing. Now I dropped all of them and watch boxing
on Versus HD (shared Versus and Golf channel). Frankly the new, less
known boxers are doing a fine job of entertaining me. Many times better
than the big names.
