Ah ha!
The veil starts to lift. Verifiable links! Via the imdb, the HFRO
producer was Mace Neufield. His son Glen, did visual effects for the
movie.
This must be "nappy"s BEST FRIEND GLEN!
REAL, TANGIBLE people referenced!
People with email addresses at studios that can be contacted for
verification.
I am SOOOOO tempted....
Dear Mr Neufield,
A poster on one of the public internet newsgroups recently referenced
you as one of his "life long best friends" while making various claims
as to his movie industry professional credits.
One of his many public messages is referenced below.
I'm not at all interested in your breaching any confidences, but if you
have a moment to have an assistant or associate respond to this message
with a simple "yes or no" reply as to the possibility of this being
factual, it would help quite a few of my friends and I decide if this
person is on the level or claiming accomplishments that rightfully
belong to others.
Thanks.
you see, nappy, I've learned that when a person operates on the basis of
honesty and truth, it's pretty easy to reach out to virtually anyone in
the world in that spirit without much concern for the personal
consequences. However, when one deals in delusion and subterfuge, a LOT
of time is wasted on trying to "keep the shields up."
If you're for real, you'd chuckle and say "go right ahead, the worst
that can happen is that this will get back to my good friend Glen and
get confirmed.
If you're NOT being honest, I'm sure your next message will attempt to
claim that it wasn't the actual PRODUCER you meant, it was someone else
that you, once again, won't name - bla, bla, bla.
Hiding, begets hiding.
Honesty begets honesty.
The ANTIDOTE for BS is truth.
For my part, after sloughing off all your personal abuse here in a
public forum, I'm starting to feel that seeking out the truth about you
might be worth my time.
So thanks for the opening.
After all, if you can act this way toward me, I can only imagine how you
might act towards others in the future - and perhaps following up on
this and bringing your true identity to light might well save someone
else a boat load of personal abuse.
