There are many sources of royalty free music available. I would suggest you
have them use that kind of music instead of something that isn't going to be
royalty free. With the RIAA I wouldn't put it past them to go after you.
And, even if at the end of the trial you aren't found guilty you are still
out a bunch of stress and nice chunk of money.
Have them purchase royalty free music. Some suggestions that can be
converted to MP3 or WAV is http://www.digitaljuice.com,
http://www.smartsound.com
If they are not willing to do this. Then I would have a lawyer draw up a
contract the makes it clear that you had no control of the music selection
and that they assume ALL responsibility for any legal problems. Without
either of these happening I would not take the job. Otherwise it will be
your ass on the line.
