Hey, I'm all for the do-it-yourself spirit. But it has to come with the
ability to recognize your own shortcomings. For all of their tackiness,
all of the infomercials on late-night TV were made by professionals using
tens of thousands of dollars' worth of equipment. Imagine what a video
made with webcams and available light by a an amateur who can barely tell
which end to point forward and has never touched video editing software
will look like.
And we're not even tackling marketing, here.
