Particle Illusion is a GREAT easy to use as video game piece of software
that will allow you to create
all kinds of sparkle or effects. It is a stand alone product, so you would
import your footage, create your sparkles
where need be, then export the clip of just the sparkles with alpha to
overlay on your footage in PP.
No mattes etc needed.
There is a $300 and a $90 version (SE) and a fully functional no watermark
30 day trial.
