The spec for DSR-1500 says DVCPRO playback. Then I heard it does not play
back via firewire. Can someone confirm/deny this? Does all sony deck do the
same?

I'm trying to rent the least expensive deck that would playback DVCPRO/25
tapes via firewire. However, the rental place staff are not familiar with
the equipments.
