A good observation, but as I (and others) have stated before the only
issue with that is that the entire adoption of HD (DVD or BD) is
slowed down due to the uncertainty in format.

A lot of people have not only _not_ bought HD-DVD or BD, but they're
not buying regular "old fashioned" DVD's either until the HD format
issue is resolved.

Warner leaning this way, in itself will generate a few more $B a year,
and when the others face the truth and get on with life, then the good
times can resume. HD should be good for at least a 10 year (if not
20) run before "real" broadband is available in enough places to make
owning media a waste of money/space/time.
