If possible, a little assistance would be appreciated . . .
I just built a new computer and installed Win MX . . . I can't get a
connection . . . I am using verion 3.54 beta 4. My new rig is basicaly the
same set-up as my old one just with a dual core processor . . . Win MX ran
fine on it . . .
I applied the following patches . . . PIEPatch2.4.exe and WinMX Patch
Installer >> Patch level: 3.0 mod 2a . . . Installer version: Patch Only
1.0b3 >> . . . NOTE: the Patch Installer removes the PIEPatch 2.4 . . . but
still no connection . . .
I never had any trouble with my previous set-up . . . I installed the patch
and it connected . . . problem is . . . that was awhile back and I don't
remember what patch got it up and running . . . maybe niether of these are
even the right patch . . .
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated . . . a website to check out, a
different patch, some user group I should check out . . . TANKS!!
