I'm sorry Hammerer and everybody else. I actually did write that old
post - every now and then I post the same question thinking it might be
seen by somebody who knows of the song - before the post itself gets
drowned out by newer posts. I'm more interested in finding out who
sung the song than the song itself. No luck so far, but I'll keep
looking.
