You folks are idiots.

The counters that you see are invisible to the naked eye. It is a legal copy
protection scheme that cannot be avoided by photography.

So, if someone were to illegally record the movie from the theatre, their
recording device would pick up the signal.

So, when you are sitting in the theatre, your eyes are exposed to an unusual
light pattern that is invisible. It could be a subliminal message that only
your brain can recieve.

You cannot issue a lawsuit against the film because they reserve the right
to protect their property from untrustworthy idiots.

I saw such an idiot filming Revenge of the Sith sitting 2nd from the front
row with his wide-screen recorder.

It was so big, I'm surprised security didn't notice it!
