I know nothing about this problem - I've connected lately w/no problem.
BTW, I'm running 3.53, on a DSL connection, connecting as a secondary.
I don't know what solutions you've considered because I don't know
what posts you've read. Also, there's no way to consider whether your
settings really are as correct as you think they are because I don't
know what your settings are. There probably is something wrong with
your settings if you can't connect.
