When I did video tape, I kept a printed catalog of everything I had. I made
it available to friends and family and they could borrow anything I had on
tape. However, tape is very finite here. All of my tapes eventually suffered
from mold incursion. DVDs and CDs don't do that.
The argument that a video recording of an HBO show is only one recording
does not wash, as it's just one recordiong out of millions that were made. I
clean out mini warehouses as part of what I do to make money. Every year I
find thousands of home done recordings from cable movie channels. We had
hundreds of them for sale at a combined family yard sale last week end.
GOT IT YET?
