I've actually had to wait for about that long. I'd even given up on
WPN, and tried my hand at O/N, only to find, maybe an hopur or so
later, that WPN was on-line.

Assuming you re-started WinMX after the install, and also remembered to
configure your settings for WinMX Peer Network, I can't off-hand think
of anything else. Just give it some more time.
