I stay on my own in the WinMX newsgroup, making the casual observation
now and then. It's a tough crowd there, not for the faint of heart.
Loco Jones thinks he's the bad-dog of the bunch, and all should fear
him or something, and I leave him this:

George Hester is a lot smarter than he lets on about quite a few
things. I think he is somehow entertained to see a *fact* he
submitted get run into the ground by the great know-it-alls, but when
they find he was correct, they never come back to say... hey George,
umm...you were right. He is to be commended because he puts up with
Loco Jones so well.
Hammerer... He'd like to see more smiles on people, especially in
these times the world is going through. The world needs more people
like him, and always will. The one's that get pissed off at him are
the one's that never read so much as a single post before blabbing
their ignorant mouth off about him.... if they did, they'd see he
means, and causes no harm. He's just thought-provoking, makes them
think, (if that's possible) and maybe, just maybe, they'll look at
other post looking for a straight answer- and find it... hey,
mission accomplished.
Penelope Pitstop has the patience of God, and will always come to the
rescue of the ones sinking in despair because nothing they try will
work. She is not moved by the indignant post ahead of her own. The
world needs more like her too.
Anthonyberet has been there longer than anyone else I can find. He
remains neutral in all controversy, and always supplies factual
information to the unknowing. Good Job Anthonyberet, no wonder you
are still around.
FatKat has a way of pointing out the obvious to the ignorant. He's
almost as much fun to read as hammerer.
The rest of the posters are found somewhere in between each of these.
Myself, I've been notified quite properly that identifying myself as
1@odds.com must stop. It seems there actually is an "odds.com" now
and someone there will want to use 1@odds.com as their true email
address. I can respect that. I only used 1@odds.com because I
always felt I was at odds with so much that I saw around me. I am
still @odds with so much that goes on in the world.

I don't think I'll participate at the WinMX newsgroup any more because
it has gone from helpful & humorous to hateful, and I can see *that*
anywhere I look these days, no sense going there looking for it.

To the Americans I have only to say: YOU HAVE A CRIMINAL SYNDICATE
RUNNING YOUR GOVERNMENT. IF YOU DON'T STOP IT, YOU WILL DIE.
