As good a sign as any that you're new to the NG.

And I've seen too many posts left by people asking the same basic
questions about WinMX over and over. If they're repeating the same
questions, they're defending their ignorance of the NG - why should I
have to wade through all those old posts? they ask. Now we actually
have a better reason than "because you might actually learn something".
Instead, "you might actually save a few bucks".

Actually, I'd like to see them go after the people paying these
pay-winmx sites. I don't have anything against them, but you don't
have to be a winmx pro to hit this logical inconsistency head-on: if
you're already paying for music or movies, why not go to a store or
on-line and just buy it. It can't be because these newbies think it's
legit - even if they did, when you buy it, you get it all at once, and
the commercial quality is markedly superior to what you can DL. You
don't have to wait on-line and, while bad media is always a
possibility, when was the last time you put a CD or a DVD on, and your
machine told you it had a file-mismatch error? Never happened to me.
So I'd just like to see how these newbs explain why they paid for the
privilege to pirate.
