I wouldn't go that far. Many newbies, having found WinMX intimidating
enough when it was a single effort, will likely conclude it too
complicated now. The remaining users will probably gravitate to one
side or another at first, following whatever view prevails on the NG at
that time they decide to join up. If one option does become the
apparent superior of the two, then it will eventually dominate over
the other.
