As directed I went winmx.com downloaded patch 2.6 and ran it
it did replace the hosts file. when I restarted winmx it rebuilt stuff
but I still have people trying to get files and they time out.
I did set uploadf slots 10 18 uploads per user 2 max 9 users

any ideas ?
