i just discovered a setting that increased my abysmal downloading
performance to a very healthy 10-20 kB rate. it worked on an existing
downloading connection. all other items that were in queue eventually
timed out. this setting is a counterintuitive one.
does anyone else out there know what i'm talking about? i'm being
secretive because this may not work anymore if alot of users know about
it.
