HibiscuzBeaver,
In my earlier reply I told you that your question is "kinda
superfluous". However, if perhaps (aside from the fact that it's not
"they" who would be looking for anything, but of course the poster to
whom I was replying and who calls himself "The Grinch") you are not
familiar with the options that Google offers to be doing such a search,
then your question is possibly valid after all and I then apologize for
my remark towards you.
If indeed you don't know how to go about searching for the entertaining
kind of discussions between "George Hester" and "Hammerer" that have
taken place in this NG in the past, then I suggest you fire up Google,
hit "groups" (below the red "o"), hit "Advanced Groups Search" (right
next to the search button) and once you get to that page, you just fill
in the fields for "Find messages - with all of the words" (Hammerer),
"Group" (alt.music.mp3.winmx) and "Author" (George Hester), then hit
"Google Search" and voila, there's your result.
With Google Groups you can search 1,000,000,000 messages, or so they
claim. A direct link to "Advanced Groups Search" is this:
