Oh, au contraire, Montclaire. If you scroll down (1/2 a screen or so,
depending on your resolution...) There are a number of posts which address
votre (your) concerns, and put to rest your fears that (y)our beloved WinMX
has gone the way of the dinosaur, the democratic legislative branch of
government and... oh, yeah... MJ. I'd let go of that one for a while. I'm
not up on my politically correct protocols but, despite the fact that a jury
of his "peers" found him not [exactly] guilty on all charges, those of us
who believe in fire where there's plenty of smoke are about as prone to
filling the holes in our Saturday night sets with Michael Jackson blasts
from the past as we are with anything his sister La Toya managed to get
pressed....evrer.
Maybe he'll return to the states in a few years and release "Stranger in
Bahrain," impressing the living sh--oes out of music critics across the
boards. Perhaps he'll grow as an artist. With any luck, he'll see past his
affinity for the innocent and realize the dark future he's condeming his
"overnight guests" to and clean up his act.
But what are the odds... in either case?
Two out of three aint bad. Follow the instructions, esp. those on the sites
the posts reference (and/or link to) and return to the familiar fold of the
WinMX extended family. Use your re-discovered connections to find an MJ
replacement, or renew your love for Madonna. Surely that cash cow is not
giving non-fat milk just yet. Always a few nickels still to be squeezed out
there.
Come in to the light, Carol Ann. Things aren't as bad as they seem.
