| When looking for a tracklisting of the new Neil Diamond "12 Songs" CD (NOT
| for me LOL but for a "friend", honest!) at my usual source:
| http://www.cd-reviewers.com/reviews_frontpage_B0009NSCVC , I discovered in
| the reviews, about the use of a Sony Rootkit attached to this album. I
read
| all the links detailed in the review (very informative if one is an Anorak
| (I respect their choice of fake fur on the collars) and just wondered
this:-
|
| has anyone got any information that if we download tracks from that album
| (I'm currently queued for 'em!), will any on the Rootkit "nasty" tag onto
| the files and come across the ether into my little box?
|
| I'm running Sygate and PeerGuardian but not sure if that will be enough if
| Rootkit is a real nasty, nasty piece of work.

Seems like Sony are backtracking like Hell on this one. Notice how they try
to blame someone else for it as well.
