It came as a kit from Sinclair somewhere up in NH.
The ZX-81 was the last one....
Then it went to Timex/Sinclair.... Lasted about 6mo & the drug store's in
Seattle sold them out the door at $10 a pop... By then IBM clones had taken
over as well as the RS Colour computer .. Eveyone was jump'n on the band
wagon.... Texas Instruments.... Atari..... And a few others..... It
moved quick then... IBM clones had dos.... for the most part... Windows
came along, I bought a mouse for $20... As a pluss, Windows 3.0 came w/ it
I had, by then got a Hyndi clone.... What a blast! LOL..... Monochrom
monitor & windows Hahhahaahah..... Anyway... Had a "music" file that
played notes thro' the pc's speaker... !wOw! Sound!
By this time it was IBM Clones & Apples....
Enough....

If you ship hasn't come in, swim out to it.... I still swimm'n
