Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of THE CALAMARI WRESTLER, CHARLIE,
ELFEN LIED: VECTOR THREE (VOLUME 3), EOLOMEA, EVIL COME, EVIL GO /
TERROR AT ORGY CASTLE / HAND OF PLEASURE, GILGAMESH: CAGE WITHOUT A KEY
(VOLUME 2), MADLAX: IN-BETWEEN (VOLUME 3), and MY BEAUTIFUL GIRL MARI:
THE CALAMARI WRESTLER (reviewed by Rob Lineberger, overall score
75/100):
"Whether you sit in solemn silence or erupt into peals of laughter,
you've probably never seen a movie hit these particular buttons at the
same time. After all, it isn't often that one gets to watch monks
perform the ritual of Seafood Soul Purification while tear-streaked
maidens look on in apprehension."

CHARLIE (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 72/100):
"A jumbled curiosity of a film, Charlie isn't sure whether it wants to
be a hard-boiled gangster thriller, a thoughtful biography, or a legal
drama. Unfortunately, it does none of these things well, and it should
be skipped in favor of any of the hundreds of better movies about
organized crime."

ELFEN LIED: VECTOR THREE (VOLUME 3) (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway,
overall score 93/100):
"?Not to sound like a broken record, but this series simply keeps
getting better and better. From the characters and their relationships,
to the various ploy threads, to the humor, right on down to the rampant
bloodshed, everything about Elfen Lied works."

EOLOMEA (reviewed by James A. Stewart, overall score 77/100):
"Eolomea raises interesting ideas, but it plays like one of those two-
part X-Files episodes: well-intentioned and thoughtful, but ultimately
trailing off into nothingness. "

EVIL COME, EVIL GO / TERROR AT ORGY CASTLE / HAND OF PLEASURE (reviewed
by Bill Gibron, overall score 72/100):
"Frankly, serial killers couldn't ask for a better representative for
the carnal side to their slaughter than Sister Sarah Jane. She's the
true definition of a coitus interrupter. That is why Evil Come, Evil Go
is a classic of sorts, a movie that uses murder to cover up its
otherwise sex-based scenarios."

GILGAMESH: CAGE WITHOUT A KEY (VOLUME 2) (reviewed by Brett Cullum,
overall score 90/100):
"I still have no idea who the Gilgamesh clan are, and the Countess seems
to be all whispered threat and little else. Despite its vague nature, I
was glued to the screen for a hundred minutes. The show drives you nuts
in all the right ways."

MADLAX: IN-BETWEEN (VOLUME 3) (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall
score 90/100):
"Do I fully understand the plot yet? No. Do I care? No, because I'm
having too much fun watching it unfold."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/madlaxvol3.php
MY BEAUTIFUL GIRL MARI (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 93/100):
"If you love thoughtful and delightful family films, it's hard to go
wrong with My Beautiful Girl Mari. Combining gorgeous animation with a
story that doesn't treat children like morons, it's a fine choice for
families."
