This "Free iPods" thing is apparently legit...if it's the same one I
remember from 2004. I remember hearing about this on a late 2004
edition of The Screen Savers on G4TechTV (the show that was renamed
Attack Of The Show [Megaphone This!]). Hosts Kevin Rose and Alex
Albrecht (Albrecht was laid off at the end of 2004, and Rose
voluntarily left in mid 2005) participated in it, and both got their
iPods (the 20 GB version) about 2 or 3 months later. I think all you
had to do is participate in one offer (like sign up for Columbia House
or BMG Music Club) and get five other people to do the same, and you
got a free iPod.

BTW, I can't believe they got rid of Call For Help again! Leo Laporte
is very informative.
