My son asked me if there were programs available that would allow him
to split mp3 files with 'hidden tracks' attached, or that had long
nearly quiet space at the front or back, or for that matter, with
talking that he just didn't care to keep.

Alas, his machine is frozen at windows 98se.

Anything that works well, particularly for a new computer user, that
also runs on such an old machine?
