I generally use WinAmp to play my mp3 library of 7000 songs, I tried iTunes
and quite like several features particularly the smart playlists.

A couple of things annoy me about iTunes. One is that any song you play
(including streams) is automatically added to the library. Is there any way
to prevent this (as in WinAmp)? The other is how do you remove songs from
the library that have been deleted from your hard drive?

I have searched the settings without finding an answer.
