The posted host file is not a patch to the program itself, it is the address WinMX goes to for making the WPN connection.

Go up to my second post ( news:1k59j1pktjhcfakpjh9kbdh07mllloe0ii@4ax.com ) titled:
"RP: Host file with corrections... Word-wrap/formatting off"

Copy and paste the text of the post into Wordpad and save it as a file simply named- Host
If it saves with the name of Host.txt, rename it removing the "txt" extention.
copy the file to your C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc folder, overwriting the original.
Restart WinMX, be patient, it takes awhile to get connected.
