I am trying to record something from analog device (tape cassette) and have
done so and stored a file in both Wav output encoder and Lame mp-3.
I find the stored files but neither will playback at an audible level. They
are in there but with volume controls all the way up I can just just barely
hear them. I have tried different sample rates with no effect. My XP system
plays the original cassette with no problem. I have the same problem trying
to play the files in Windows Media Player and Winamp but have only tried
recording using CDex as recommended by this group. My goal is to arrive at
MP-3. Any ideas would be appreciated.
