Is it possible to copy podcasts from the iPOD to the PC?

I originally had my Podcast list setup on my girlfriends computer but
decided to install iTunes on my home PC a couple of weeks after the event.

Although I have subscribed to the same Podcasts I am now missing the
earliest two episodes from each podcast - due I suspect to the fact that
each podcast has received two new episodes since I originally subscribed -
the oldest episodes just drop off it would seem...but there are some I would
like to keep on my iPOD - obviously if I now set iTunes on my own PC to
automatically update I am guessing that all my original episodes that do not
now exist in iTunes will be deleted - is that correct?

As these old episodes still exist on my iPOD is it possible to copy these
back into my Podcasts within iTunes so I don't lose them?
