It would seem that you are the exact kind of customer that those selling
protected files without consideration for whether or not the purchaser is
going to be able to get any kind of fair use from that file desire. The
protection they have used is preventing you from using the files in a
perfectly legitimate way yet you still wish to retain that protection.
Good for you, I say. Way to uphold the law and fight for their right to
party at your expense.
Perhaps you should take up your issues with the people who sold you these
files? I for one would be very interested to hear what sort of
satisfaction their customer service people (they do HAVE a customer
service department, don't they?) give you.
