Thanks again for the kind words CQ...touched a nerve have we?
As this is my first foray into mp3, iPOD, iTunes etc. please accept my
humblest apologies for posting off-topic - the flurry (4) questions came
about because I have just bought my first iPOD so am busy ripping my CD's
into mp3 format within iTunes.
From reading the archives of the ng it appeared to be a helpful and
knowledgeable place to ask...didn't realise I would have to beg your
forgiveness for the error of my ways...
Troll? Surely you've been around long enough and are wise enough to know the
difference between a troll & a newbie?
If you know of a better place for me to ask then is it really beyond the
realms of possibility that you might care to share some of your knowledge
and recommend another ng?
The first newsgroup searches I made for ipod or itunes drew a blank - when I
searched this ng for itunes (12) and ipod (16) - ignoring the 2:1 ratio of
free ipod offers - I sort of migrated here by default.
Thanks to the other posters who have taken the time to answer my stupid
questions without resorting to sarcasm or patronising replies. ;^)
Regards,

And this has what to do with mp3 again?
There are much more suitable groups for your "iPod this" and "iTunes
that" problems.
Given the number of questions and posts you have now made to this group,
not a single one of them related to *mp3*, a person could easily begin to
think you are just having a bit of a troll here.
