I bought an AVB MP-1G, since its specs look great on paper and the
price was good. Voice/radio record, MP3, USB, FM, 1Gb. I was very
disappointed with the quality after opening the package. The case is
similar to model airplane plastic. The paper thin glass display broke
on the first day under normal handling. They refused to cover it
under warranty, which is only thru the manufacturer. I got them to
agree to send a replacement for $10 + shipping, but the "replacement"
had fingerprints under the protective plastic cover on the display, and
sent in my original opened packaging. They didnt even give me my
battery back. Dont buy this unit, spend a few dollars more and get the
IPOD or better yet, the IRiver you really want. Those units are much
sturdier, and have better functionality and features anyway. I gave
this one away and got a Nano.
