Right. You can apply APE or even ID3 tags to a WAV file, but nothing
other than the program that put them there will support them. Lossless
formats like FLAC can be tagged and will be read properly by other
players that support the format.

I've heard good things about it. If it can do "secure" ripping like EAC
and CDex, then I should probably start recommending it too. :)
