The problem with your statement is that it's fundamentally incorrect to
characterize the data in question as video files "encoded for the iPod."
Video files can be "encoded for the iPod" that have no DRM on them, and
in theory FairPlay DRM could be applied to data streams that aren't
suitable for iPod playback. So, as I said, the DRM issue about which you
were responding has nothing in particular to do with the iPod.
