I am using Firefox for downloading podcasts in the mp3 format. Never had the
problem of choppy playback.
If the downloading status icon shows the total size of the file it is
alright. If no final size of the file is shown, the speech will be choppy.

PS: the same with JPG files

Is there a sure way of loading mp3 files ?
