I've been messing with some new Altec Lansing speakers (fairly cheap 3
piece ones, nothing special) trying to get good sound from them. Well
when I adjust the equalizer to give some good bass volume for the sub
woofer, the sattelites have too much bass and there's some pretty bad
distortion on songs with heavy bass. When I turn the equalizer to
auto, I get pretty weak bass on the sub woofer, I'd like to get a
little more from it. Speakers don't have a bass adjustment knob
themselves, so its all got to be done through the computer. Ideas?
Basically need to turn up the bass without touching the equalizer.
