My son has a cheapo MP3 player.
I have an Ipod and use Itunes to purchase tracks.

I cannot purchase music from Itunes and convert it to MP3 for my son as
purchased music from Itunes is 'protected' and I am therefore looking
for a reliable & legal site where we can buy MP3 files, preferably one
which doesn't insist on loading special software in order to use it.

Any advice would be very gratefully received
