It will be unlikely to be that complex, seeing as how a disc will have
to have a decryption key that works with every player. But, the system
doesn't *need* to be that complex to be unbreakable within the useful
lifetime of the product. An automated key exchange public-key encryption
system would work just fine, and is easy to build (since it's already been
done many times).

If designed correctly, yes it is. But then "air tight" will also be a
good description for the way the players with this requirement will be
sealed inside retail stores.
