Windows ME is a lot more like Windows 98 than it is like Windows 2000.
These 9x versions of Windows are downright lousy when it comes to
supporting USB devices.

The best help you're gonna get is being told to upgrade to Windows 2000
or XP.

You can always /try/ to get the Sansa to work with Windows ME, but
nobody can make you any guarantees.
