I've done it, it took me a bit of time to figure it out.
First, just to be sure, copy the two files into a temporary
directory. Open the one you want to be appended first, then
"Edit" and "Select all", now select "File" from the top, then
"Append all/selection to" and select the other file to which
you want to add the selected part. Then just "Quit". This is
*probably* not the right way to do it, because the resulting file's
properties only show the second file's bitrate, time, etc. But
the content is both files. I have done it the proper way, but I
have to find out how I did that. I think you have to cut them, then
"Save all", etc., but it takes time figure it out. I appended about
5 files together, a live medley, into one file and it shows the
correct accumulated time, etc. If you really want to know, let me
know and I start to play with some temporary files...
