Recorded a song from internet through Realplayer, Line in source and
then played it. It worked so recorded some more songs. Only change I
made was raised volume for 'Line in' through Adjust recording levels.

Now even the first song I cannot hear though the counter becomes active
and all that.

So did some recording through Michrophone. This recording is audible
but songs are not.

Audio files of BBC are are audible but not the songs I recorded.

What could have happened, how to correct it?
