I use this OpenBSD laptop 75% of the time and really would like to fill
in my collection with a few songs from the major labels that aren't on
eMusic.

That's unfortunate because there are some labels that are on both eMusic
and iTunes, and the eMusic versions are unencumbered and 1/4 the price.
