Ok, then let me rephrase it: I've never owned Microsoft Windows or used
it, other than incidentally, in my personal life.
I have used it on the job, and when I needed to access email from a
public terminal or a friend's or relative's computer.
And that, sir, is essentially "living without it," unless one is a
literalist.
